Our staff of allied health professionals, including certified athletic trainers, will ensure that your fitness or therapeutic exercise program will be medically appropriate and based upon your needs and evaluation of your current health and fitness status.
Prior to beginning your personalized program, you will complete a medical history questionnaire, discuss your needs, goals, and lifestyle, and undergo a thorough evaluation, including computerized cardiopulmonary diagnostic testing, and flexibility, endurance and strength testing to assess your physical condition.
Workout in a Relaxed Environment
The philosophy of Fitness for Health is to provide, specialized, therapeutic exercise and personal training programs to adults with diverse needs in a non-intimidating, relaxed environment while utilizing state-of-the-art, high-technology equipment.
Based upon the results of our in-depth evaluation and our discussion of your needs, we develop an individualized program for you. In our private fitness center, you receive one-on-one attention without worrying about mirrors, your exercise attire, loud music or crowds.
Studies have shown that exercise adherence is increased when participants engage in regularly scheduled, supervised exercise sessions rather than attempting to follow a disciplined routine on their own. With our individual or small group workouts, you can choose the option that best suits you.
