2021 B Social – Team Building for Adolescents with Social Challenges (ages 11-16) (Summer Program)
Celebrating our 14th year, Fitness for Health and the Center for Communication and Learning is offering a summer therapeutic program for students with ADD/ADHD, Asperger’s, Social Communication Disorder, and Autism Spectrum Disorder. Program co-founder Susan M. Abrams M.A. CCC-SLP was featured in the ASHA Leader, published by the American Speech Hearing Language Association.
Our B Social Team Building Program focuses on developing your adolescent’s social competency. Social Thinking® is more than just about being social. The skills and strategies we teach will impact their performance at school, in the community, and throughout their lives
Our dynamic and unique program facilitates the development of:

- Theory of Mind
- Reciprocal Communication
- Social Problem Solving
- Interpersonal Relations
- Team Communication
Social learning is facilitated through direct instruction, coaching, and opportunities to practice the skills in a dynamic environment.
Our 4:1 Student to Professional Staff (speech-language pathologist and fitness specialists) ratio make the B Social program especially beneficial for students with social challenges.
2020 Session Information:
- August 2 – 6 …………….. 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM
- August 9 – 13 …………… 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM
Cost: $549* per week
10% discount if you sign up for multiple weeks.
Only one discount is allowed. No combining discounts.
**Reimbursement of costs for the program may be available for insurance coverage and/or flexible health spending accounts.
